The fly fishing school that I started more than 10 years ago, first in Reeuwijk and later continued at the Haarrijnseplas, has returned to Reeuwijk, do you want to learn to cast two-handed with the fly fishing rod (to catch salmon) book your lesson or lessons now. All styles Scandinavian, mid or long belly, Scandi, Skagit. Lessons are possible 6 days a week. Hundreds of students have gone before you. Private lessons or in small groups, but a workshop is also possible. All the bad purchases and wrong trips that I have made can be prevented. I have already paid that tuition fee for you. With me you can learn everything about rods, lines, casting, flies and more, everything that is needed to make your trip a success. If necessary, I will prepare you in a short time so that you have sufficient knowledge and skills to be successful. With the "FreeClass", (free lessons from "hbflyfishing") I stopped in 2018. Started in 2008, it was also enough once. The “FreeClass”, at the Haarrijnseplas, was continued by the students themselves and has become a pleasant get-together led by shopkeeper Ton Temming of Traditional from Utrecht under the name Spey casting friends.

I only fish at the best times with the best guides and make a good deal for the group. Of course also in my interest. A hosted trip, I book the trip for the group, booking yourself always costs more and the question is whether you have booked the right time for the fish species you want to target. Every trip I make there are a few places, usually 3. If you are interested, let me know in time, for the best weeks I often have to book a year or more in advance. It works like this; I look for a good trip and I buy 4 places in the Lodge, I pay all places in advance to the Lodge (they like that very much), I then have the first choice, I later sell 3 of these places to my customers, full is full, regular customers go first. Of course I also go myself, it is a hosted trip. Booking yourself at the Lodge always costs more. You often get a place that is left over. I make my choice for the best weeks based on my experience, but also by looking at the statistics of the last few years.
